Painting Garbage Cans!!!
The 20th Annual Garbage Can Painting Contest in Granville Island was a huge success! Artists ( 25 of us ) had 4 hours to create works of art out of galvanized metal garbage cans. The cans were then auctioned off with the full proceeds going to BC Children's Hospital. It proved to be a fun filled day despite the difficulties painting on a hard ridged surface and with little time to spare... I finished my can with only 4 minutes until we were to "drop our brushes".
